Vilsandi Archipelago
Vilsandi is the westernmost inhabited island of Estonia. The people of Vilsandi have always been of a special kind - brave seamen, merchants and shipbuilders. Additionally, the rich nature of Vilsandi has been subject to nature protection for over one hundred years! Today Vilsandi island has given its name to the Vilsandi National Park.
Come and enjoy the wonders of Vilsandi with us. We welcome you, but you must keep in mind that while being on a small island and a protected area, one must follow some simple rules:
- Take with you only photos, leave nothing but footprints
- Anything you take with you to the island, you must also take away with you when you leave
- Of course we do not throw any litter on the ground
- Do not pick any plants so that others can enjoy them as well. There are other and more sustainable ways of enjoying their beauty - bend and smell, take a photo or a video
- Move quietly on the island so you will not disturb the others, and you will have a more intimate experience
Welcome to Vilsandi!
