Tropical Beauties in our Fields and Meadows

The family of orchids (Orchidaceae) is one of the richest in the world with 20,000-35,000 different species of these wonderful plants. There are more than 100 species growing in Europe and 36 species are native to Estonia. Our islands are full of them in spring and summer!

Besides roses, orchids have always been a symbol of love. Instead of buying flowers for your sweetheart, invite her or him to our fields to enjoy the beauty of wild orchids! Exploring the rare tropical flowers hand in hand is definitely a more memorable experience that just watering flowers at home. Our flower-guide teaches you to notice beauty even where you would usually see only "a meadow".

To meet Lady's Slipper (Cypripedium calceolus) in the woods is an unforgettable experience. You'll meet different species depending on the season. Come and enjoy the great variety of wild orchids in our northern meadows and woods! Our skilled nature guides will take you into the wilderness where you can see and learn about these interesting and beautiful plants.
