To the Sea

Saaremaa island is a "country" of the sea. The Nationa Park of Vilsandi is comprised mostly of the coastal sea and the islets. Hence it is natural that many of our heritage tours take you to these islets and to the sea. 

The Estonians have always been a people of the sea, but nowadays the seamanship has started to fade. We will take you to Vilsandi island and further. With large boats we will visit the uninhabited islands and maybe even meet some seals. We'll organize a boat rally and the romantics can stay overnight on uninhabited islands. It is also possible to go diving or be taken by boat to see the seals in open sea. 

For the cold winter we have prepared walking-on-water-trips with skis or by foot. In spring and autumn we can watch the birds arriving or leaving, as Vilsandi National Park is very rich of different bird species. 

Believe us - it is an incredible experience to see thousands of migratory birds flying above you at sunrise or sunset! One does not have to be a "professional bird-watcher" to enjoy this, it exites even the minds of the most simple town- or countrymen.
