Monday - Nature Tour on Soeginina Cliff
This tour has been recognized by the Estonian Ecotourism Association with the quality sign Estonia - the Natural Way.
Skilled nature guide takes you to a half day trip to the southernmost corner of the National Park of Vilsandi. You will see and learn about the formation of the Baltic sea and Silurian bankline with extraordinary fossils. You will walk on the bankline and through broad leaf coastal forest, where wild ivy (Hedera helix) could be found among other natural rarities. If you are lucky the grey seals will come to welcome you in the sea. Sea eagles also show up now and then. Guide will tell you about the history of protecting nature in Estonia (Vilsandi NP is almost 100 years old!) and tell you stories about local flora and fauna. Climbing over 300 year old stone walls is an experience as well. Tour ends with light eco-picnic.
