Gray seals have puppies!
Seals have puppies in winter (January - March). Let's have a look at their kindergarten!
The tour starts in Loona Manor, the centre of the National Park of Vilsandi, where the introduction to the local wildlife will be made and short film about Seals of the Baltic Sea will be shown.
Drive to the coast (12 km). Walk to the seal watch point through the broad leaf forest. During the trip you'll hear about the history of seal hunters and how seals were used in the everyday life of the islanders An overview of the Baltic Silurian limestone bank and fossils will be given. Seal watch with and without binoculars. Walk back to the start point for hot drink and picnic.
Regulations and price:
Minimum price: 25EUR per person (at least 4 persons)
Children under 12 free of charge
Availability:January - mid March.
Price includes: skilled multilingual guide, binoculars, light picnic, skis.

Important!
- "There is no bad weather, only wrong clothing and improper attitude" (Estonian saying).
- Waterproof overcoat and comfortable hiking shoes are the best dresscode for nature walk.
- Cameras and binoculars are most welcome!
- This is wild nature. We know the best viewing places for you to see these wild animals without disturbing them. Although the possibility to see seals is high, we cannot give 100 per cent guarantee.
